| A brief description of your family, its interests & hobbies |
| Di and I are both semi-retired. Di was a teacher for over 20 years and I am an accountant. We live in a large house in a village about 5 miles from Newark and 15 miles from Nottingham. We have a lot of animals which keep us very occupied--5 dogs, 4 horses, a cat, rabbits, goats, chickens. We are both very active and enjoy walking with the dogs (and usually a goat!), and playing sports such as tennis and badminton.
We have hosted students on exchange visits on several occasions and Di has a TEFL qualification. We both enjoy giving students the chance to participate in our rural life and to learn/improve English at the same time ! |

| A willingness to participate not only in their studies but also in our family life. We would encourage them to get involved in new experiences and to be adventurous. It would greatly help if they liked animals as we have lots ! |

| We have a large house with plenty of things to do and see. Although we are in the country we are close to both Newark and Nottingham. Di has been a languages teacher for over 20 years and already has experience of foreign students. |
